about me

Marina Balboa is a Berlin-based photographer working with musicians and artists, including Chico Blanco, Ellen Allien, Kid Simius, Raven, and Ferrari Rot, among others. Her work spans mostly press images, tour and event photograph as well as album covers and some e-commerce. Exhibited at Studio 1111's and The Ballery and with images published at Wonderland Magazine and Fleek Mag, she works intuitively; building concepts on the fly, shooting with what's already in the room, and keeping retouching to a minimum. The result is digital imagery that feels immediate and alive, rooted in the energy of the moment. Open to commissions and collaborations.
